STALLIONS ARE ALLOTTED Three Canadian Racing Association Sires to Stand at Ailsa Craig and Brampton. TORONTO, Ont, April li— The thoroughbred stallions, the property of the following Jockey clubs of the province, Ontario Jockey-Club, Toronto ; Hamilton Jockey Club, Windsor Jockey Club. Niagara Racing Association, Fort Erie, and Thorncliffe Park Racing Association, Toronto, which are being placed throughout the province of Ontario for the Improvement of the "light horse," will make the season of 1927, as follows: McNeill, by Neil Gow — Pernelle, Jas. Mc-Farlane. Ailsa Craig. Galatine. by Gallinule — Burgomaster, Jas. McFarlane, Ailsa Craig. Bulldog Drummond, by Holiday House — First Blush, Jas. McFarlane, Ailsa Craig. Quartz Rock, by Rock Flint — Christie, J. Bovaird, Brampton. Dan Jackson, by Horron — Polly Lee, J. Bovaird, Brampton. Orblike, by Orby — Fainne Geal, J. Bovaird, Brampton. Alasnam, by Alpha II. — Sunny Lass, Major Palmer Wright, Chaffeys Locks. Springside, by Charles Edward — Spring-wells, Major Palmer Wright, Chaffeys Locks. Evan, by Bayardo — Evadine, A. Archibald, St. Thomas. Old Koenig, by Golden Maxim — Masthead, Or. A. C. Burt, Simcoe. Feylance, by Assagai — St. Frey, W. H. .loore, Uunbarton. Cattagat, by Radium — Catgut, E. Taylor stud groom, "Woodbine Park." Orblike, owned by T. B. Jenkinson, has been kindly loaned by him to the above named jockey clubs for the season of 1927. They are a fine looking array of thoroughbreds throughout, but one that particularly takes the fancy of the many visitors is McNeill, the big, handsome son of Neil Gow — Pernelle, by Persimmon. This stallion is now twelve years old and stands sixteen hands, two inches. Dan Jackson is the only one that has so far been sent to his district this season. He is back at Brampton, where he stood last year. Hearts of Oak is to be sent to Western Canada, it is learned, but all the others will be retained in Ontario and will shortly be shipped to their various locations.
