i ♦ : • Sweeps Selections At Havre tie Grace ♦ 1 1 One Best Bet — REJUVENATION — In the Fifth Race. j * i | , , Some fast sprinters will measure strides In the Aero Handicap, which features the card at Havre de Grace. This contest has decision over the three-quarters distance and has a value of !.0©0. Senator Norris and Sunsard share top-weight honors in the field of ten that has been named. The Twin Rivers Purse, for three-year-ods, is the second attraction and here tbe Sagamore Stables Abul Fath. winner here last September, will endeavor to give weight and a beating to his five opponents. With the exception of the first and second races small fields will go to the post, but the contention should be keen. GYMKHANA— LONG POINT— MARK MASTER. GYMKHANA was in need of her race last Saturday, when she finished far back of Hole Card and other good ones. She should be in improved condition with that effort behind her and this appears a good spot for her to score. She has defeated faster horses than most of these and can carry the weight of 114 pounds without much trouble. Her works say she is ready and should win with an even brek in racing fortune. I.ONG POINT faltered so badly in his last out that it was thought he had bled during the running. He apparently has recovered, however, for he stepped a half mile in :54 the other morning and went easily all the way. He is consistent when right and cannot be overlooked. MARK MASTER raced well at Bowie, but he is far down on the list of also eligibles and may net go to the post. WILD ASTER and TEN SIXTY should be fighting it out with the leaders, but would have better chances if the going was heavy. GARKTH ran some good races at Miami. NIMROD was one of the best sprinters at the Havana track last winter. SPORT HALLAHAN— ALGOL— PRATE. SPORT H ALLAH AN. a stake winner at the Fair Grounds meeting, is given the call here in spite of his top weight of 120 pounds. This son of Sir John Johnson is a strapping juvenile and should not be hampered by his impost. He worked a half mile in :S1 Tuesday morning and appears ready to hold his own with the eastern cracks. ALGOL, a consistent son of The Porter, defeated some highly regarded two-year-olds in his recent victory and merits consideration in any company. The weight of 116 pounds should not bother him. PRATE, one of the three strings to the Greentree Stable how, chased the fleet Lenny home at Bowie and cannot be overlooked. WANDERING MINSTREL— ABlL FATH— DOT©. WANDERING MINSTRJ2L, a good third to Whiskery and Indian Love Call in his only local start, closed a good gap from a slow start in that occasion and should have been closer to the leaders. This fellow ran several good races at Tijuana and is wall suited at the three-quarter distance. The weight is not too much and Bourassa will have the mount. ABUL FATH, a " son of Omar Khayyam, is particularly dangerous on a muddy track, but it is doubtful if he can defeat WANDERING MINSTREL at the first asking. The Sagamore Stable colt has not worked publicly and, although he is said to be ready, he is meeting a seasoned cam- paigner in the Seagram standard-bearer. DOTO has trained well and may share in the purse division. YOLANTE— SUNSARD— FORE LARK. VOLANTE worked half a mile in :50% Tuesday morning to sharpen up his speed for this affair and should show well. The Woll-man gelding is a game and consistent sprinter and will not be bothered by the weight of 112 pounds. At the Miami course be was consistently in the money against the fleetest racers campaigning there and he appears to have the edge in this company. SUNSARD tired badly in the Harford Handicap running after showing early speed. He should be in better form tomorrow and may share in the money. FORE LARK and SENATOR NORRIS have worked well and should improve over their recent efforts. HOLE CARD drops four pounds from his score of last Saturday, but meets faster company and will do well to finish in the picture. ROLLS ROYCE has plenty of speed, but generally tires after five and a half furlongs. DEVONSHIRE may surprise. REJUVENATION— COMET— NAT EVENS. REJUVENATIONS runaway victory last Saturday when he finished five lengths in front of Cogwheel and other good ones makes him the logical selection in this mile and n sixteenth number. Although picking up five pounds over that race, he should rei eat and appears to be the outstanding wager of the day. COMET ran well at the Miami meeting and is in light. This son of Gnome has met faster horses than most of these and has been in the money in his last four starts. NAT EVENS prefers a shorter distance, hut he has a good burst of early speed and may last long enough for part of the purse. COGWHEEL is fit and ready and should furnish plenty of contention. BRUNS has yet to run his race. Trainer Richardson has the temperamental son of Friar Rock in fine fettle and he may cause an upset one of these days. OYER FIRE— DELHI BOY— COCKNEY. OVER FIRE has not faced the barrier in five months, but he outfigures his opponents on beat form and is given the preference. He worked three-eighths in :37 Tuesday and should turn the trick at the first asking. He has plenty of early speed and is well suited at the mile and seventy yards distance. DELHI BOY races well in cheap company and arrived in good condition after his campaigning at Jefferson Park. This fellow defeated OVER FIRE last year, but the distance was farther and it is doubtful if he will repeat at this distance. COCKNEY has worked well and may cause an upset. WOOLWORTH— RAMA— PARMACHEN KE BELLE. WOOLWORTH showed a terrific burst of speed in his race Monday, but faltered in the final eighth after opening up a lead of six lengths. He has little to beat here and he should atone for that showing. He seems to be a horse that thrives on competition and it may be that he will step down in front here. RAMA has not been out since the Jefferson Park meeting, but he has run races that gives him a good chance in this company and he may fare welL IARMACHENEE BELLE has bad legs, but may stick it out for third money.
