Won easily: second and third driving. NKTTA RUN rsced tip to the leaders on the outside and. finishing fast, took the lead and was going away at Uie end. TURKEYS NECK showed the most speed from the barrier and raced straight, bnt could not withstand the winners rush. GLADYS CLARK, close up from the start, took a brief lead in the stretch, but tired right at the end. INLAID finished fast when fully set In his stride. Start good and slow. Won driving: second and third the same. THE CODE began fast and clear and. taking a small lead in the early running, raced WHIZZING CLOUD into defeat and outfinished SUKY. SUKY liegan slowly, but raced into the place fast, then ran out on the stretch turn. WAYFAIR raced forwardly all the way. WniZZING CLODD forced a fast pa«-e from the beginning and finished well. TOMMY FOSTER ran a good race. SHTJP raced gamely. CROSS WORD met with much interference and was knocked out of contention. There was niu« li rough riding in the race. Scratched 11740 Ima Baby, 109. PILLOTTA, outpaced for the first half mile, improved his position on the outside and finished fast. CANDY PIG made a challenge while rounding the last turn, but could not get to the two leaders. Won handily; second and third driving. EDISTO took the lead quickly and. setting a good pace under slight restraint, withstood repeated challenges from MAKCONI and held JOY SMOKE safe at the end. The latter raced close up and. grinirg f:-t in the last half mile, was running gamely at the end. MAKCONI l egan in a tangle and, racing into second place, made several challenges, hut tired badly in the last eighth. BROTHERHOOD wss given a breathing spell when BLOW HORN was rushed into tbe lead, then passed the latter when called on. but tired when MAXIE challenged. SHADOWDALE finished gamely after racing forwardly. THE ALLY closed an immense gap. SOUTH BREEZE and BLOW HORN quit. Scratched— 12359Gayly, 110; 12441 Chick vale, 105; 12420 Off Spring. 110.
