PURCHASES FRENCH STAR SPECIAL CABLEGRAM". PARIS. April 23. — Victor Emanuel continues to add to the thoroughbred purchases -which he will shortly ship to this country for a campaign. His latest acquisition is the three-quarters bred jumper Incas. which won the Prix de President de La Repuhlique last year, and which was fourth in the renewal of the same race last Sunday. In this running Uncas encountered many difficulties. He was badly bothered for the greater part of the distance and, when in the lead, was impeded by Ralph Beaver Strassbnrgers Ace, which was running lose. Uncas is l y the thoroughhred stallion Melbourne from the half-bred mare rage.
