Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. REMEDY followed in closest pursuit of the early leader for the first half mile, then took the lead when called on and, coming into the better going in the stretch, held the lead tenaciously to outgame LONG POINT. The latter improved his position steadily and made a fast finish on the outside. MARK MASTER raced on the outside from the start, but swerved to the inside in the stretch and lost all chance. AIXETACHE finished with a rush. KING ONEILL II. begsn slowly and closed a big gap. Won driving: second and third the same. PRINCE OF WALKS, close up from the start, was crowded badly by TIIF. HKATHKN when rounding the turn out of the back stretch aud had to be taken up, then came to the outside for the final drive and headed the leaders, but had to be ridden out to the limit to withstand PRIM K OF BOIRBONS challenge. The latter was outpaced for the first half mile, then came with a tremendous rush through the stretch and would have won in a few more strides. SENATOR NORRIS raced into a brief lead, but tired in the stretch. CON TEMPLATE raced well. SINSARI was always outrun THE HKATHKN set the early pace, but swerved over badly on the turn out of the back stretch and impeded lioth POLY and the winner, then quit at the end. Won handily; second and third driving. SEA ROCKET worked his way to the leaders rapidly in the last half mile and, taking the lead J after entering the home stretch, withstood the rush of COMET. The latter raced within striking distance - of the leaders to the stretch and made a game effort to overtake the winner at tbe eighth post, but tired in the last sixteenth. PRICKLY HEAT dropped back after racing close up, bat came again a with a belated rush to outfinish AUCILLA. The latter made the early pace under stoat restraint, but tired when forced to a drive.
