SUCCESSOR TO W. PERKINS LEXINGTON. Ky., April 23.— Al Thomas, veteran negro trainer, has been placed in charge of the public stable maintained by the late William Ierkins. Thomas will make no change in assistants, retaining all of the employes that worked under Perkins. Thomas was assistant to Ierkins for a number of years.
