Starter Harry Morrissey lost no time in placing several horses on his schooling list for their fractious actions at the barrier the first two days of the current meeting. Those on the list are : Tromping To Day, Merrimac, Peggy i.. Monastery and Good Time. Val Crane, the Chicago sportsman, is shipping three horses from Eexington to coni-I ete at the Aurora meeting. They are expected to arrive Sunday. It de eloped that Pete Foy. which ran into the fence Friday afternoon, was so badly injured it was necessary to throw the horse out of training. His handlers think he will not be able to race for several months. Iron Mask II. stepped in a hole, while breezing Saturday morning, and pulled up lame. Trainer Hoag reported the matter to the stewards and they promptly excused the Mira Monte Stock Farms entry from the feature racing, narrowing it down to three starter*. A. Fabry purchased Daddy Wolf from Z. Murphy at private sale. J. Bishop will train the horse. Boy Williams, an attach.- of the S. W. Grant stable, was an arrival and announced that a division of that stable was shipped to Eouisville, including the crack colt, Fred Jr., a Kentucky Derby candidate, while another baud of its membered was shipped to Chie-ag-i and are in quarters at Washington Park. All shipped in first-class condition, with no casualties.
