I LATEST LEXINGTON NOTES ! 9 -9 LEXINGTON, Ky., April 23. J. Whitlow has Timmara, Manwell. Inspec-. tor C. and three two-year-olds in training here for T. W. OBrien. He also has threes other two-year-olds in his charge, and the entire establishment is scheduled for shipment to New York early next month. C. L. Whiting, popular eastern sportsman, has ten horses in training here. J. W. Davis is conditioning seven two-year-olds for him and E. I avis has the remaining three. C. R. Hood obtained the three-year-old Leonardo II. filly Efeddee from J. S. Wallace by private purchase yesterday. She will be trained by G. II. Marlman. Mose Goldblatt has taken first call on the promising apprentice R. Barnett for the entire Kentucky season. This young rider is under contract to C. H. Trotter. The annual spring meeting of the Thoroughbred Horse- Association will be conducted in the Palm room of the Phoenix Hotel here next Wednesday evening. The election of officers anil other business will be transacted. J. Me Phersen selected the fedlowing horses from his big stable at Churchill Downs for racing he-re: Marvin May, I_idy Lynn. Lmgworth. Griffin. Joe k -y Mack Garner this morning suffered a minor injury to his le-ft foot, which was fractured last spring, but was able to fill his riding engagements during the afternoon.
