The latter moved into second place with a rush and finished gamely, but could not get to the winner. CECELIA GROB was taken back after the start, but came with a rush around the turns and finished fast. HEAVY* DATE raced very wide on the- lurns and finished well. DIVORCEE tired. SIX SIXTY was hard ridden in the early running and moved up rapidly jnst before reaching the stretch, then came fast and gamely, and headed CHIEF SABATTUS in the last seventy yards. cHIKF SABATTUS showed the most speed, but appeared done after reaching the stretch, then came again in the last eighth. FLAMES raced with the early leaders for three-quarters and took the lead in the stretch, but tired in the last eighth. TOROnER was taken back in the early running, but failed to respond when ridden hard. RUNQUOI quit badly after going a half mile.
