: AURORA TURF NOTES t 4 ■ $ AURORA. 111.. April 26. S. W. Grant, who shipped part of his stable to Kentucky, including the Derby candidate Fred Jr., shipped six horses from Washington Park to Aurora. The thoroughbreds were quartered at Washington Park for more than a week awaiting stable room at th- Aurora course. H. E. Springer wired from Tulsa. Okla., to Clint DeWitt at Aurora that the thirty day meeting there will begin May 12. No purse will be for less than 00 and a ,500 handicap is carded for May 20. No entrance fee will be charged owners who contemplate trying for the purse. Horsemen at Aurora who plan shipping to Tulsa can get in touch with Clint DeWitt at the Aurora track and he will reserve stable space for them. •
