AVERSION, away well, set a fast pace from soon after the start and raced CAPTAIN KIND into defeat, then ran out in the stretch, but finished gamely and was going away in the final drive. WILD ASTER gained steadily on the inside and. coming between the leaders, outfinished BALDPATE. The latter, close up from the start, saved ground where possible and finished well. I.EATHERWOOI was bumped about after the start, but gained steadily and finished fast. BI.lE RIDi.E ran well throughout. MOHAMED .1 AM AI finished well. OCR ADELE began sluggishly, but gained steadily under good riding and. saving ground when turning for home, passed the leaders into the lead and was going away in the final drive. DISTRACTION raced closest up from the start and, coming to the outside when entering the stretch, finished well. COMPLICATION showed the most early speed, but tired and gave way in the final eighth. GRAND HEY followed SAI.TA closely under restraint and, coming gamely on the ontside when entering the stretch, overcame a bumping from SAI.TA and outgamed him in the final drive. 8ALTA set a good pace under restraint to the stretch, saved ground on all the turns and finished well, although swerving to the outside in the stretch.
