| __ g Ashland Oaks at Lexington Today LEXINGTON, Ky., April 26.— The Ashland Oaks, which had its first running in 1879, will be renewed at the Kentucky Association course tomorrow. This stake of one mile and a sixteenth, for three-year-old fillies, seems destined to have a banner field, the overnight acceptances including practically all of the most capable westerners eligible for the race. An entry of ten was made and barring a change in track conditions, all are expected to start. The race attracted forty-two nominations, and carries along with its monetary reward, a beautiful silver trophy donated by Major T. C. McDowell, for whose Ashland place the race is named.
