HEATING CHEATERS began quickly, took the lead midway of the back stretch and was casing up at the finish SOLOMONS KILTS, shuffled back on the first turn, gained steadily and, coming through next to the inner rail when entering the home stretch, finished gamely. DR. SISK showed the most earlv speed, but was doing his best at the end to outfinish GOLDEN ARMOR. BANKER BROWN opened up commandingly in the early stages, but was tiring fast in the last eighth and was driving hard to stall off RED SETH. The latter, close up at all stages, cauie to the outside of the leader in the stretch and was catching the former at the enil. LIZZIE N. came around on the outside with a belated rush to displace I.U».CK SAND at the end. FORT BLISS, prominent in the early stage*, quit badly. JOF, outrun early, closed an immense gap in the home stretch to head NEKo at the end. The latter, on the extreme outside on the first turn, lost much ground there and tired in the final drive. YolNG AlKII. was in close quarters and could never find clear racing room. BaKHMSnl KtFFAN ran out on the first turn and was eased up when beaten. JAlNEBAR moved up courageously on the last turn, bit could not reach the winner and was tiring at the end. BARBERRY displayed ket«n early speed, dropp-il back, but came on again in the final drive. BATSMAN met repeated intirference, but dosed « tl» good courage when clear. HERETRIX went to the extreme outside on the first turn, forcing PYi.noT to lose ground. ARABELLA began quickly and raced into the lead, but easily gave way to the winner. BROWNIE SMILE lost some ground on the last turn, but came on rapidly to out-game TCRNBERRY in the final drive.
