NABISCO raced close up under restraint for the first three-quarters, then began moving up fast when taken to the outside on the stretch turn and, finishing gamely, outstayed ARRAOOSA. The latter raced prominently from the start and was cut off several times in the last three-eighths, but finished fast when clear. GABALDON raced close up to the last sixteenth, where he tired. ANRLEPLA N H saved much ground in racing into the lead, but tired badly after reaching the stretch. MONTE KUSA showed the most speed for the first half mile and tired. BOBBIE SHEA was badly outrun. WATSON was in close pursuit of the leaders for the first half before tiring. JOf. BALL ran well.
