PAT TAKES OMAHA FEATURE FEATUREDnunheller Dnunheller Racer Accounts for forAkSarBen AkSarBen Queens Plate Better Luck Second OMAHA Neb June 8 The AkSarBen Queens Plate an annual feature of the Omaha meeting was the outstanding attrac ¬ tion of todays program at AkSarBen Field and eight of the best horses at the course went to the post The race was won by G Drumhellers Pat which showed a sudden return to good form and was given a good ride by Rennie Better Luck carried C B Irwins colors into second place while Pirate Gold from the Clem stable was third Cen ¬ timeter the latters stable companion and Tamarind set the pace but quit when the stretch was reached and the three placed horses fought it out outShasta Shasta Gold and Glenister II represented B Creech in the race but neither figured in the result resultThe The largest weekday crowd of the meeting braved the sweltering weather and made the trip to the course and many wraps were doffed by the male sex during the afternoon The track was fast fastBonnie Bonnie Lizzie a long shot ably ridden by apprentice Herinie was winner in the first race She was rated behind the leaders to the stretch and then came fast War Salam made a fast finish to take second money and Circuit was third thirdMove Move On Seth won the second race He outran the others and was taken back of the leader and came fast in the last quarter to win handily Levulose and The Franciscan split the remainder of the purse purseSir Sir John McDonald a winner earlier in the meeting at a long price came back again to take the third race and paid the surpris ¬ ing price of 18 Christina was top heavy favorite here but the best she could do was finish second while Finday was third thirdGovernor Governor Seth and Miss Drapeau two of the best juveniles at the track staged a pretty battle in the fourth race and the for ¬ mer got the verdict by a nose Miss Drapeau set the early pace but the winner wore her down in the stretch Frank Light was third
