GREY LAGS LAMENESS GONE NEW YORK, N. Y., June 24. Sam Hildreth reported that old Grey Lag, after coming out of his winning race Wednesday a bit lame, showed no evidence of the lameness after he had cooled out. The nine-year-old son of Star Shoot was as frisky as a yearling this morning, and it is probable that his limping, when he came out of his race, was caused by his having stepped on a small stone in the run through the stretch.
