s! : ; Robert M. Sweitzer Handicap HOMEWOOD, 111., June 24. The second running of the Robert M. Sweizter Handicap has attracted an entry of nineteen of- the best horses that are now quartered, at the track, and the race, which is at a mile and an eighth, promises to be one of the greatest contests that has ever been staged in the older division in many years. The Green Briar Stables Flat Iron, conqueror over Boot to Boot, has justly been assigned top weight of 120 pounds and, at this impost, he will be given a severe test in this formidable opposition. With good weather and a fast track that is bound to prevail, the mile and an eighth track record is sure to go by the board. The race is creating considerable over-night interest and, coupled with this being Board of Trade Day, with most of the purses named in honor of prominent Chicago operators, the occasion should be a gala one, and the crowd at the course rival the big outpouring of Derby Day.
