Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. INGRID raced close up from the start and, racing into the lead in the stretch, stood a drive gamely and won going away through the final sixteenth. GUINEA HEN was rushed up fast on the outside into a long lead and, showing high speed throughout, outfinished PANDERA in the final strides. PANDERA raced close up from the start and finished gamely. MAID 0 THE MIST lost ground when entering the stretch and was closing up gamely at the end. BONNIE MAGINN had no mishaps. GBRMAINB CHADVELOT saved ground on the turns. HIGHWAYMAN, close up from the start, responded to hard riding in the stretch and outgamed IRISH MARINE in the final drive. The latter followed the leaders closely and moved up fast when called on, but was swerving out at the end. GRAEME was shuffled back at the start, but worked his way up steadily and finished fast. DURIE M. showed the most speed from the start and saved ground on the turns, but tired badly in the final eighth. HOROLOGE finished fast from a slow start. TOUVOYOU lacked early speed. IMMOLATOR wheeled at the start. GORDON PLAID saved ground when passing the elbow and finished fast between the leaders. POLLS was forced wide while passing the elbow and moved up gamely, bnt tired right at the end. GRACIOUS GIFT showed the most speed from soon after the start and, after being passed, finished well. BUMPKIN ran a poor race throughout and could not improve his position when called on.
