OPERATE ON V/ACKER DRIVE LOUISVILLE. Ky., April 10— Dr. C. N. Finch arrived this morning from New York and performed an operation for wind affliction upon J. J. Coughlins Derby cancidate, Wacker Drive. Dr. Finch stated that it would be four days before the colt will be able to be out and fully two weeks before his active training can be resumed. Whether the operation will prevent the colt from starting in the Derby, Dr. Finch was unable to say. Trainer Danny Miller, of the Coughlin Stable, is going to send Two Dans, one of the stables Derby eligibles, and eight other horses to Lexington next Saturday in charge of assistant trainer Dick Heffernan. Jockeys J. lieupel and.N. Watters will go along to ride for the stable.
