V ■ if NEW YORK TURF NOTES i NEW YORK. N. Y.. April 10. Alec Gordon, who wintered the Fair Stable I horses at Douglas Park. Louisville, is due to ship to Belmont Park on Saturday. April 14. .Two cars will make up the shipment. They are due Sunday. Gordon, according to reports, is well advanced with his horses, including his two-year-olds. Sandy McXaughton. who raced at Tijuana during the winter, is expected to arrive on 1 Wednesday. April 18. The Madden and Widener bands are expected from Louisville this week, while John i Lowe, with the W. R. Coe Stable, is awaiting cars to move his horses. Max Hirsch will ship one carload of horses ! to Havre de Grace on Thursday. This band will be campaigned in Maryland. Hirsch is 3 undecided at present what horses will be Included in the shipment. A decided change in weather conditions I slowed up training operations at Belmont Park Monday morning. Hogarty, a recent t arrival from New Orleans in the stable of f ,T. W. OBrien, showed the best effort of the ? morning. He worked five-eighths in 1:01%. • i Henrietta Wildair. which was wintered at t Nashville. Tcnn., by trainer Carter, breezed 1 three-eighths in :35%. The stable of William Daniel. Chicago • , sportsman including Justice F., winner of f the New Orleans Handicap, arrived from i i Tijuana. The horses shipped in good shape, according to trainer Riddle. The two new Belmont Stakes, the Debufr r and Maturity, received thirty-three and nineteen - entries, respectively.
