PLANS FOR PREAKNES3 DAY BALTIMORE, Md., May 3.— The Maryland Jockey Club plans to make Preakness Day a notable one in the racing world. On that occasion Governor Ritchie, of Maryland, and Mayor Jimmie Walker, of New York City, will be guests of the club. They will occupy the box set aside for the directors of the association and they will present jointly to the owner of the winner of the Preakness Stakes the handsome Woodlawn Vase, one of the most artistic and valuable trophies contested for on the turf. The United States government is sending John Williams, of the Department of Agriculture, over from Washington, with two government photographers to take moving pictures of the crowd and running of Pimlicos famous old turf classic. » _
