AURORA TURF NOTES ♦■ . $ AURORA. 111., May 19. Jockey H. Philpot came in from California and had his first mount here on Black parling in the fourth race. Just Beau, representing E. Wittman in the closing race Friday, was claimed by W. Caytrood at a cost of ?G00. P. E. Lamport sold the plater Friday 13th to M. N. Porter at private sale. P. E. Lamport will continue to train the horse for the new owner. C. MeOorkle arrived from New York, bringing one horse, Spanish Princess. The newly arrived racer will start Monday. There was a surplus of 00 in the purses for Monday, May 21, to be added to the first and third races on Tuesday, May 22, making the value of these races 00.
