A _ _ § KENTUCKY OAKS TODAY LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 1.— The Churchill Downs spring meeting of twenty-three days concludes tomorrow, when a program of quality that has its feature in a renewal of the 0,000 added Kentucky Oaks, will be offered. The chief attraction is expected to bring under colors the good three-year-old fillies Easter Stockings, Pink Lily, Reveries Gal, Sandrine, Elizabeth, Rejoice, Aleader and Miss Lee. They will contest over a distance of a mile and an eighth, with Easter Stockings and Reveries Gal the pre-race choices. The initial running of the stake was back in 1875, the year the Kentucky Derby had its inception. Last year it resulted in a victory for Gallaher and Combs Mary Jane. Some of the greatest fillies during the more than half century of its history listed among the winners of the fixture.
