FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES 1 4 ■ j COLLIXSVILLE, 111., June 1. Members of the Second Division Association of World War Veterans, now in session in St. Louis, will be guests of the Fairmount Jockey Club next Friday, June 8, and the sixth race has been named in their honor. Fairmount Park will also provide entertainment during the afternoon for the members of the Illinois State Rar Association, in annual meeting in East St. Louis. In honor of the baristers the fifth race will be run as the Illinois State Bar Association Purse. C. E. Boots Durnell wired general manager C. Bruce Head today that he would ship eight horses from Churchill Downs next Wednesday. These will include Irish Pal, owned by Griffin Watkins. General Haldeman, Firetoma, Talequa, See Sag and Vanquish have been added to starter William Snyders schooling list. John A. Rogers was among the Chicago visitors to witness the Derby running.
