LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 1.— A lightly attended, yet enthusiastic meeting of the Thoroughbred Horse Association, was held here last night. It was announced that more than 200 new members had been received since the previous meeting here two weeks ago. Over 100 of the new members were obtained from among the horsemen and jockeys at Aurora. The list includes a number of the most prominent and successful horsemen of the country, it was said. The association voted to retain the name of its official bulletin, the title of "Thoroughbred Horse," and a plan for the publication of the paper will be worked out at the next meeting. A suggestion that more stringent eligiblity regulations govern the membership that was drafted at a meeting of the association at Aurora and presented here last night, was voted down. The association voted to accept the offer of the Hartford Live Stock Insurance Company to handle business obtained by members of the organization. William E. Caskey, chairman, presided.
