SHIPPING ANMER TO OTTAWA TORONTO, Ont., June 1.— The English stallion Anmer, which has been standing at J. C. Fletchers Downsview Farm, has been shipped by the government to Ottawa, where he will stand next year. Anmer, probably one of the best bred horses sent to Canada in recent years, will be remembered by racegoers as the horse that collided with The Suffraget at Sandringham Park during the running of the Epsom Derby a few years back. A handsome individual, he gets good looking horses of fine conformation and bone. Anmer is under control of the Thoroughbred Horse Society.
