BLUE LOSE raced into a good lead soon after the start and, holding it gamely, barely lasted to cut finish the fa t coming I.OYE ll KATE. The latter raced in close pursuit from the start and would probably have won in another stride. JACK OLEEN, knocked back when leading on the back stretch, recovered gamely and ran a good race. LINEN KINO saved ground on the turns. GYMKHANA was In close quarters for practically the entire race. CANDY LEE suffered from considerable interference on the back sttetch. LIEUTENANT II. , In close quarters for the fist quarter mile, was unable to get to the leaders. CORINTH, unruly at the post, began fast, but quickly "ropped out of it. IRISH LORD closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. HBIXiEFENCE. outrun on the early stages, made up ground. JIM CROW showed early speed.
