Joseph McLennan received a notice from Algernon Daingerfield, which he posted in the secretarys office, warning owners and trainers not to harbor or employ Robert Costelio, who left his contract employer, Sandy Mc-Naughton, without permission or consent. Ambrose Clark horses, was an ariival from Boston this morning and will remain until after the running of the Windsor Hotel Cup Handicap, in which event Mr. Clarks Broom Whisk will be started. The standing stalls out of the mile chute proved so popular with horsemen and racegoers that track superintendent Donaldson had a force of carpenters at work today erecting stalls at the seven-eighths chute. They will be ready for Saturelays racing. Among the distinguished visitors at Blue Bonnets were Sir George Walton Pusine. judge, of Port-of-Spain, B. W. I., and Lionel Devaux of Castries. St. Lucia, B. W. I. They stopped off in Montreal for a few days before continuing on their trip to the Canadian Rockies. These gentlemen are interested in facing in Port of Spain. The sport is conducted there during the months of December and January and the native-owned horses have to compete against those from Venezuela, where there are several real high class thoroughbreds racing which were imported from France. Among yesterdays arrivals were C. R. Fleischman and J. E. Smallman. Both gentlemen will remain until the closing day of the meeting. William Wick, the New York sportsman, who is racing some horses here in charge of J. S. Healy, has decided to freshen up his horses here and they will remain at Blue Bonnets until the opening of the Dorval meeting the latter part of July. Tom Andrews, the well known sports writer and promoter of Milwaukee, was a visitor. He was accompanied by Mrs. Andrews. They are on their way to Amsterdam to witness the Olympic games.
