w . — , END VISIT TO STUD FARMS LEXINGTON, Ky., June 22.— George Wing-field, owner of the Nevada Stock Farm at Reno, New, and one of the wealthiest men engaged in the production of thoroughbred horses in the West, after a visit of three days here, accompanied by his friend. Governor Balzar of Nevada, returned to Chicago to remain until Saturday, when he and the governor will return to Nevada. Much of the time while here was devoted to inspection of thoroughbred horses, especially those owned by Mr. Wingfield and quartered at Thomas Carr Piatts farm, and to visiting the various breeding establishments and points of interest in this section. Mr. Wingfield expressed great pleasure at seeing the yearlings and foals of his mares here, and was well pleased with the appear-nnce of his stallions General Thatcher and Honey wood, also the brood mares.
