ROCK UUEEN was outrun to the stretch turn, where she came through on the inside and. finishing fast, passed VITALIZE and won going away. The latter was much used in racing CONSENT into defeat and tired. FANTAST began slowly on the outside and raced in the middle of the track, but finished well. PLAGUER. in close parsait of the early pacemaker from the start, moved up on even terms with BEAU McNEILL at the eighth post and gamely outfinished him. The latter began fast and st t a good pace, but tired at the end. PROBATE, a forward contend* r all the way, was tiring at the end. JAGGER and MERRY MOUNT finished fast. ZEOI began fast out of the stalls from the outside and SAUEir immediately got busy on him, rushing him to the front and, keeping him going at tap speed all the way. He hung on gamely at the end and just lasted long enough. SILVERMIRE furnished keen contention for the entire distance and was gradually wearing the winner down. He would have beaten him in a few more str.d. v. CIVILITY was a contender all the way. TELURIDE began well, but was crowded bark soon after the start. He gained fast in the run through the stretch and drew away into an easy lead in the last eighth as TALL GRAM, closer up than usual, responded with a game effort when called on in the last eighth. SPORTING VEIN, in lose pursuit of the leaders, easily disposed of DAFFODIL at the head of the stretch, but tired under pressure.
