t ARLINGTON PARK NOTES | g, ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 25. C. E. "B ots" Durnell arrived from Fair-mount Park, bringing with him the Three Ks Stock Farm Stables two-ye r-old Thats It and Gen. Ricky, and G. Watkins aged gelding Smiling Gus. Both of the two-year-olds were starters in the Illinois Stakes, in which Thats It finished second to Port Harlem. Jockey Lee Hardy returned with Mr. Durnell. In the same car that brought the Durnell horses were a couple belonging to E. P. Perkins. R. McGarvey, acting for S. Peabody, sold Hand Or to C. A. Bernhardt at private sale. In the shipment of horses yesterday to Kentucky was included Georgia Rose, which goes to P. T. Chinns Himyar Stud for breeding purposes. Georgia Rose was obtained from C. II. Knebelkamp, the latter receiving the two-year-old Little Gyp in the exchange. Others in the shipment were Wisdom, Illegitimate, Princeton, Country Boy and Big Chief. The Sanola Stock Farm Stable secured Fire Boy and Celeste from Mose Shapoff. am. they will be trained by L. Meripol. P. J. Miles, who is en route to Salt Lake to serve as an official during the racing there, stopped off for a brief visit to Arlington Park.
