PIMLIC0 TURF NOTES 4, . • PIMLICO, Md., May 13. Numerous departures have been arranged for the next few days from Maryland by horsemen. Most of the stables racing here will ship to New York to race at Metropolitan tracks, while others are contemplating racing on the Canadian Racing Association Circuit in Canada. J. P. Smith, who has the Dorwood horses in charge, loaded his outfit with those of William Garths and they were dispatched to New York. Jockey Bejshak, who fell while riding Skirt In the first race Friday, is more seriously injured than a first examination of his hurts revealed. It is feared now that he suffered a punctured lung. James F. Milton concluded his duties as Btarter for the Maryland circuit with the close of the Pimlico meeting. With R. J. Padgett he will make a trip to Oklahoma, where both business and pleasure will be combined. Ralph Beaver Strasburger claimed Gold Chord on Friday for his entered price of ,500, while in the final race Frank Grace secured Blue Darter for ,000. James Healey, acting for Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, sold for a private consideration the promising juvenile, Sun View, to W. C. Trover. Jockey R. Leonard, who rode in the silks of W. J. Salmon during the meeting at Pimlico, reported that he has made arrangements to pilot one of the candidates in the Kings Plate at Toronto, which will be decided May 18. Richard T. Wilson and John Hay Whitney were among the Club House visitors for the last day of the meeting. Jack Whyte, who is training a division of the Seagram Stable, left for Toronto Sunday to go into quarters at Woodbine Park.
