• RAISE KANSAS CITY PURSES KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 13.— The Riverside Park Jockey Club announces that preparation for its spring meeting of thirty-one days, which begins May 30 and continues to July 4, inclusive, have been virtually completed. Purses have been increased so that the lowest offering is 00, with others at , 00 and ,000. Under this arrangement the daily distribution will be ,500 as against ,900 last year. At least one race a day will be for two-year-olds to afford Missouri breeders an opportunity to campaign their young horses.
