8 1 OUT OF DERBY PIMLICO, Bid., May IS.— Dr. Free-land, winner of the Preakness Stakes, will not be sent to Louisville to com* pete in the Kentucky Berby, which will be ran at Churchill Downs next Saturday. Owner Walter J. Salmon, after a conference with trainer Thomas J. Healey, stated that the colt will be returned to Belmont Park and given a careful preparation for the Belmont Stakes. This stake will be run on June 8. Br. Freeland came out of the Preakness in excellent condition and on that score there Is no reason for not sending him after the Derby. Mr. Salmon prefers to wait for the New York feature. g 8
