Salmon, accompanied by Mrs. Salmon, arrived here today for a visit to his Mereworth Stud before going to the Kentucky Derby and confirmed the report that Dr. Freeland, winner of the Preakness stakes, will not be shipped to Kentucky and will not be a starter in the Kentucky Derby.
