W. SHORT SUSPENDED PIMLICO. Md.. May 14.— By order of the stewards, W. B. Marshalls Friedjof Nansen was scratched from the seventh race Saturday and trainer W. Short was suspended and his case referred to the racing commission. This ruling was taken for the reason that the recent claiming of the horse by Marshall was not in accordance with the rules of racing.
