OHIO DERBY ATTRACTS PIMLICO, Md., May 14. — Indications are that the Ohio Derby, to be run at Bainbridge Park June 21, will be the most notable renewal of that race. William Dangman, a steward of that meeting has met with a wonderful response in nominations received at Pimlico. Tom Healey has nominated the Preakness winner. Dr. Freeland, and African, which finished third, while Minotaur, which raced second, has also been made an eligible. The Nut has been nominated by Joe Notter and Black Panther is another of the Salmon three-year-olds named by Healey. Sun Hatter and the imported Danish Prince are two others, and Voltear, winner of the Chesapeake Stakes, has been nominated by Preston Burch. Earl Sande has already named both Hermitage and his filly Nearby, and there have been some others named. The Ohio Derby is a race of one mile and an eighth, to which 2,000 is added, and the nominations are to close June 1. ♦
