CANADIAN TURF NOTES f $ ® TORONTO, Ont., May 27. The plater Glee Club, a recent arrival from Belmont Park, has been turned over to E. Myatt, who will train him in the future. Three carloads of horses left Woodbine yesterday for Belmont Park. Included in the shipment were the horses of W. J. Salmon, R. T. Wilson, Dorwood stable, Eastland Farms stable and Max Hirschs Sortie. The Bayard Tuckerman horses and these for the Essex Stable were shipped to Brookline. Charles Robinson reports the arrival at his farm at Oshawa, Ont., of a chestnut colt by Cudgel — Madam Pompadour. W. W. Loney was an arrival from Philadelphia. The Loney horses have been at Thorncliffe for several days. Jockey W. Munden has signed to ride for the R. H. New stable. W. Mara, one of starter Cassidys assistants, will be at the Woodbine every morning to school horses between 8 and 10 oclock. Harry Giddings disposed of the plater Milestone by private sale to W. J. Mclllmurray. Reports from Havre de Grace, Md., are that the Mrs. J. Simpson Dean stable would be shipped from there on Tuesday direct to Ottawa. Trainer W. Mulholland had recovered from his recent illness and will accompany the stable to Canada. Jockeys badges have been issued to fifty different riders at Thorncliffe. At the conclusion of the Thorncliffe meeting jockey W. Curran will leave for Ottawa to report to trainer Mulholland of the J. Simpson Dean Stable. Jockeys L. Schaefer and J. Maiben leave for New York Thursday. A
