SUN HATTER followed the pace closely under steady restraint, came through on the inside when entering the stretch and, wearing down the leaders, drew away. SAFETY PIN responded gamely to urging and finished gamely. ST. HENELL rared INDIGO into defeat and then tired. SWEET VKR-BENA finished resolutely. FOLAM1EE came with a belated rush. Won driving; second and third the same. VOLUNTEER jumped well and, kept in a forward position all the way, swerved under pressure after taking the final obstacle and wore down TARAS HALL. The latter jumped well in the early racing, but made a bad landing ft the sixth fence and. being rushed into the lead in less th;tn an eighth, held on gamely to the end. BOLD KNIGHT was messed al out and closed rapidly under weak riding. He was bothered when VOLUNTEER swerved in front of him after taking the final jump. BOURBON MAID raced well and had no excuses.
