To Deduct One Per Cent, Daily Racing Form, 1929-05-31

TO DEDUCT ONE PER CENT CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 30.— At a meeting held Monday night, the Bainbridge Park Breed. is and Racing Association have agreed to deduct 1 per cent of all purse money given during the meeting for the benefit of the Thoroughbred Horse Association, but only from purses won by those horsemen who agree by petition to this deduction. This arrangement is similar to that which prevailed at Jefferson Park, New Orleans, last winter.
