Starter Harry Morrissey added Miss Chl-niquy, Shift, Straw Vote and Howard Lee to the schooling list, due to their bad post actions of Tuesdays racing. The Louisville division of the J. J. Cough-lin horses came in from Churchill Downs, and were quartered here, with the exception . of Karl Eitel, who will represent the Chicago owner in the Fairmount Derby Saturday. Karl Eitel will be brought to Washington Park after his Derby engagement. Among the arrivals was the stable of Roy Carruthers from Lexington, Ky, in charge of trainer W. Grater. Wednesdays racing resulted in the adding to the schooling list of the horses Hidden Thoughts, Blessefield, Oakland, and Gold Ridge. Jockey R. De Prema will be absent from Washington Park for a few days, going to Churchill Downs. It is understood that De Prema will go to Fairmount Park to ride I Minotaur in the Fairmount Derby on Satur- j day. A division of the Mrs. E. Denemark Stable was also among the arrivals, bringing the good filly Supryse, which was a starter in the j Debutante Stakes.
