Day, who is serving as one of the stewards at the Bainbridge Park meeting, departs tonight for New York, where he will visit Belmont Parle on Friday and Saturday to interest horsemen in making entries for the Ohio State Derby. This race has 2,000 added, distance one mile and one-quarter, to which entries close Saturday, June 1, and will be run here on June 22. the closing day of this meeting. Already there are twenty-eight nominations made for the race.
