DUSHKA improved her position rapidly when settled on the back stretch and, moving to the pacemaker with good speed, took command at the final eighth post and drew away without effort through the final stages. FORECAST II., racing well up with the pace, displaced ROSE LADY when ready, saved ground, but was unable to keep up when challenged. ROSE LADY displayed good speed for the first half mile and. in spite of tiring, held the others safe. Wou ridden out; second and third easily. CAKE FREE, away forwardiy, moved into a long lead after the first eighth, saved ground thereafter and held MALCOLM safe, although tiring fast near the finish. MALCOLM, urged along from the start, gained steadily when put to a drive and was gaining at the end. CIRCUS RIDER, in contention all the way, held on well to outstay BOCK THORN. The latter forced a good pace, but tired in the last eighth and may have been short. VOYAGE finished gam-Iy. STORM KING quit badly. CROSS WORD met with trouble on the far turn but finished fat when clear. ALITA ALLEN lost ground for the entire distance. SEWANEE sprinted into a long lead but quit to a walk after three-quarters.
