SEATING CAPACITY OF 30,000 i HOMEWOOD. Ill, June 17.— Col. M. .1. Winn states that Washington Park is equipped to seat 30.000 people, a capacity greater than any other track. Churchill Downs, nearest in this respect, has seats for 25.IMIO. For the American Derby two carloads of seats, sufficient to seat 2.000, were brought from Churchill Downs. Five thousand seats were transferred from Lincoln Fields. Five thOOSSIld folding chairs were distributed over Use premises, which easMed j the management to set a new mark for BSSt-I ing capacity.
