LOOKOUT RING GRADUATES Henderson Taylor Colt Is Easy EasyWinner Winner of Maiden Race Raceat at Riverside KANSAS CITY Mo June 9 Lookout Ring carrying the colors of Henderson Taylor was an easy winner of todays first race at Riverside Park It was for maidens over the five and onehalf furlongs route and called for threeyearolds and upward Lookout Ring was the one to graduate when he led home Mrs L Hectors Littlewood by four lengths with the favorite Lady Edjelo finishing third The winner outclassed the field for speed and at the end was easing up Littlewood closed fast in the stretch and caught the tiring Lady Edjelo near the end Ormopan the one to follow the early pace quit badly badlyTodays Todays attraction at Riverside Park lacked an outstanding feature but most of the races provided thrilling contests contestsTen Ten of the cheaper grade of sprinters that are stabled at the track went to the post in the second race which called for non winners in 1930 to contest the purse over the futurity course The winner turned up in C R Rileys Forbidden with Critic from the stable of W H Gardner racing second and W H Askeys Dancing third The winner made all of the pace and at the finish was five lengths in front of Critic The latter met with some interference in the early part and was forced to race around on the outside of the field in the stretch turn but closed with a good burst of speed and would have been a more serious contender but for the mishap
