JOCKEY J. LENNIE SUSPENDED DEL MONTE, Calif., May 2.— For an unsatisfactory ride on Amilcar, in the fifth race, on opening day here yesterday, the stewards suspended for an indefinite period jockey J. Lennie. The action of the stewards in effect served notice on both the riding colony and the horsemen that the Del Monte Polo and Racing Association is determined to maintain the sport at a high standard, and will brook no loose handling of the rules of racing. «
