DATE OF ARLINGTON CLASSIC Word from the office of the Arlington Park Jockey Club that the dates for the running of the Arlington Stakes would be announced shortly after the arrival of racing secretary Joseph McLennan, who left Baltimore Saturday for Chicago. Many queries have been received as to when the classic would be decided this year, and it is expected that the information will be forthcoming within a few days.
