CAPTURES VICTORIA CUP Special Cablegram. HURST PARK, England, May 2.— Fleeting Memory, owned by Sol Joel, won the Victoria Cup Handicap here today, by one length. C. Wadias filly, Silver Clover, was second. Sir Hugo Hirts Diolite, which finished third in the 1929 derby, was third, lapped on the filly. Silver Clover was the 13 to 2 favorite.
