OTTO LEHMANN IN LEXINGTON LEXINGTON, Ky., May 5.— Otto W. Leh-mann, president of the Arlington Jockey Club, arrived in Lexington this morning from French Lick Springs, Ind., to remain until after the sales of thoroughbred horses next week and the running of the Kentucky Derby at Louisville, May 16. He expects Roy Carruthers, manager of Arlington Park, to meet him here by the end of the week. He has five mares and their foals at Piatt Steeles farm, and it is a part of his mission here to see them. Trainer Charles H. Hughes is here to remain until after the sales and the Derby, when he intends to return to the east until Arlington Park opens. During the next few days he will be busy inspecting mares that are coming up in the sales.
