PRINCESS CAMELIA began fast, raced restrained for three eighths, readily drew into command and won in hand. SABINA H. saved ground on the stretch turn, closed gamely, wore down MARVINA and outstayed PEARL GRACE. The latter began slowly and. far back for a quarter, worked her way up on the outside alter reaching the stretch and closed fast. ANNY J. lost much ground. MARVINA showed speed under energetic riding, but went wide and tired in the stretch. CMA tired badly. OVERBOARD, going in his best form and showing fine speed, drew clear quickly and, saving ground, won under mild hand riding. CANFLI showed speed from the start, saved ground throughout and came again after dropping back on the stretch turn. HAMBURGER JIM. taken to the inside on the turn, moved up boldly alter reaching the stretch, then tired in the final strides. BEIGE raced wide, but showed a good performance LAURA NEGLEY had no mishaps. ROMANY BAW showed speed under vigorous riding, but quit badl in the last three sixteenths. EASTER TIME, making his first start and quick to begin, worked his way into the lead under strong urging, saved ground after drawing clear on the turn and. withstanding ADOBE POST, increased his advantage in the linal strides. The latter began slowly, but rushed up fast after reaching the turn, challenged gamely under strong handling and tired in the closing sixteenth. PRINCE SWEEP raced on the inside throughout, had no mishaps and was best of the others. USUAL TIME dropped far out of it on the turn and could not get up thereafter. TANNERY began fast, kept close up under restraint to the stretch, where he responded strongly and, racing through on the inside, drew out fast after taking the lead. DON LEON, quick to get going and much iifwl in pacemaking, bore out badly in the last quarter and tir*d in the final eighth, but outsta ed STOCK MARKET. The latter raced up fast on the outside early, forced the pace under brisk urging and was forced wide while tiring in the stretch. MARTIS began slowly, but saved ground. JUSTINIAN closed with a rush. CAYUGA could not get up. BROWN WISDOM showed early speed. BEST MAN worked his way up on the outside and quit after five-eighths. PANSY WALKER dropped out of it on the stretch turn. NIFTY wis outrun. The latter closed with a rush. MASTER ACE began slowly. HERENDEEN began slowly as Meades foot slipped from the right stirrup iron and was never a factor. GRIFF W. quit. HAM and TIGER FLOWERS showed early speed.
